The Human Form: Pushing familiar subjects in new and increasingly engaging directions is a challenge that Giles continues to explore. Throughout this work he reveals a graphic quality, reducing the amount of information required to suggest form.


Contours: Like most of his personal work, this series of images reflects a desire to challenge the way we see everyday objects. Although apparently reduced to two dimensions, the graphic quality of the image reveals form, surface and texture with a distinctly minimalist palette.
